Explore

A hundred acres
of room to roam

Kestrel Bend Camp and RV sits entirely inside the national forest. Here is everything the park holds — swim, hike, paddle, browse the store, then sleep under it all.

Everything in the park

Every amenity is included with your stay — no passes, no day-use fees, no fine print.

Wireless Internet

Fast park-wide Wi-Fi reaches every site and lot, with boosters on the RV rows. Strong enough for a video call from the picnic table.

Pet Friendly

Dogs camp free on leash across the whole park, with a fenced run near the store and waste stations on every loop.

Creek Swimming

A roped swimming cove on Bowl Creek with a sandy entry and a lifeguard on summer weekends. Cold, clear and unforgettable.

Hiking Trails

Fourteen miles of marked trails leave straight from camp — from the half-mile Fern Loop to the all-day Kestrel Ridge climb.

Convenience Store

Firewood, ice, coffee, forgotten tent stakes and local maps — open 7 AM to 9 PM daily, with fresh pastries on Saturdays.

Clean Facilities

Hot showers, flush restrooms and a dish station on every loop, cleaned twice daily. Laundry sits behind the camp store.

onto the trail

The Fern Loop leaves from behind the restrooms. The Ridge Trail leaves from Rock Point. Bowl Creek Path follows the water to the dock. Pick one before breakfast and be back for lunch — the camp office hands out free laminated maps with every check-in.

Water days

The lake is
ten minutes away

Bowl Creek widens into a glassy lake just downstream of camp. Rent a kayak at the dock, swim the roped cove, or claim an evening bench and watch the light go gold behind the ridge.
